Standard swimming goggles have non-prescriptive, plano lenses that would leave everything blurry for someone who needs vision correction.

Q2: How do I select the right strength (diopter) for my goggles?
A: Important: The prescription for swim goggles is typically not the same as your everyday eyeglasses.

• General Guideline: We recommend choosing a strength that is slightly lower (by -0.50 to -1.00 diopters) than your current eyeglass prescription. This is because the lenses are much closer to your eyes, and water itself affects light refraction.

• Example: If your eyeglass prescription is -5.00, you might consider choosing -4.50 or -4.00 goggles.

• Best Practice: For the most accurate choice, especially with a strong prescription, please consult your eye care professional (optometrist or ophthalmologist) for advice.

Q3: Can I get goggles if my eyes have different prescriptions?
A: Absolutely. You can order a customized pair by selecting a different diopter strength for the left and right eye during the purchase process. This ensures each eye gets the precise correction it needs for optimal vision clarity in the pool.

Q4: What if I have astigmatism?
A: Our standard prescription goggles correct for spherical power (nearsightedness). If you have a low degree of astigmatism, it is sometimes possible to compensate by adjusting the spherical power.

• Approximation: You can add half of your cylinder (CYL) value to your spherical (SPH) value. (e.g., SPH -3.00, CYL -0.75: approximate goggle strength = -3.00 + (-0.75/2) = -3.375, so you might choose -3.50).

A: Yes. Our goggles are equipped with these essential features:
